📖Guide to WAX Linking and Verification

Welcome!

This is an assisted guide made for the AOG server, with visuals that you can reference to the messages that you would see. This process takes roughly 10 - 15 minutes.

Step 1

You are required to link your WAX Wallet before you can verify through an automated bot named Honeycomb. 

If you already have a wallet linked with the Honeycomb bot or would like to check whether if you have a wallet linked via Honeycomb, type in the following command.

.wallets

You will receive either one of these messages below.

Honeycomb linked to Discord account + Wallet linked, scroll to Step 6

No wallet response, proceed to Step 2.

Step 2

You will link your Discord account to the Honeycomb platform.

Type in the command

.honeycomb

You will be greeted with the following message that would be deleted in 60 seconds after it sends with instructions specifically for you.

Example : These instructions are for Crypto420 only.

Please make sure that the message has your name written on the very first line.

Click on the two links (boxed in red) that are sent in the embedded message.

The second link is a transfer asset link specific to you. 

Keep a screenshot or a note of the worker ID and the memo (boxed in orange).

Step 3

Purchase the Honeycomb NFT with an online eWallet like WAX Cloud Wallet.

The WAX CW is capable of holding WAXP tokens and NFTs.

Transfer the Honeycomb NFT using the second link (preferred) mentioned in Step 2, or the memo / screenshot that you saved. Make sure that the worker ID and memo matches before you send the NFT!

What are the effects of transferring this NFT to the worker ID?

This NFT transaction, would link your Discord account to the Honeycomb platform, where you can link your wallet on Discord in the next step.

Step 4

Add a wallet to the Honeycomb platform. Use the following command

.wallets add (your WAX address)

Example

.wallets add crypto420.wam

You should receive the following message from the bot, but we are not done.

Step 5

Type the following command to receive the WAX Linked role and to confirm your wallet has been linked.

.wallets

Your net result should be something like this:

A quick view on your Discord name, you should have two roles now.

Step 6

Go to the [ #🔍・Social-Verify ] text channel.

You should see the follow text, and you should not have an orange mentioned bar on the text below by the bot.

You would also see that you are able to chat within the channel.

If you do not have the permissions to send text in that channel, please check your roles again in the previous step.

If you do have the role, you would need to reboot Discord by force quitting the app on mobile or desktop, or doing Ctrl + R (PC/Mac).

Click / Tap on the embedded "Verify" button to begin verifying your account.

Step 7

You would be brought to an Authorization page from AuthenticateMe and Discord.

Make sure that you are logged into the correct account before hitting the [Authorize] button.

Compare your Discord username & tag number and ensure they do match. (dotted box in red)

If they do not match, select the option "Not you?"

Otherwise, hit the [Authorize] button.

Step 8

You should receive this visual after authorizing. If you do, continue to Step 9.

If you do receive any warnings from the site as shown below, please refer to the relevant articles listed at the bottom of this page.

Step 9

Thy shall type command, and ye shall be rewarded*.

*If you have private DMs enabled for the server or global, you would receive a DM by the bot instead.

If you got kicked from the server, please rejoin the server & contact the AOG staff for help in [#🚨・Support]

Anti-alt has been enabled in the server, and F2P features are limited to ONE account / household.

You can send in Gladiators on missions if you are unable to verify.

Step 10

As the whitelisting for F2P features are currently done manually every 12 hours or so, you will have to be patient. The developers would sync at least once per day.

While you may have the [Social verified] role from the Verification bot, the game's whitelisting requires manual input which would take some time.

The most common time for whitelisting on the AOG platform occurs around 1600 - 1900 hours EST (as far as I could tell).

You can check back from time to time on the AOG gameplay, or ask a moderator on an estimated ETA.
